NTCA Members Pace Inaugural Live Install Showcase at Coverings “Installation Design Showcase”
The National Tile Contractors Association (NTCA), the largest tile contractors association in the world, was a key sponsor in the inaugural “Installation Design Showcase” held this April during Coverings 2010 at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, FL.
Leading certified installers from the NTCA created five different vignette bathrooms that came to life during the week of the show. NTCA Affiliate Members donated fixtures (Kohler Company), setting materials (MAPEI), backerboard (USG/Durock) and tools (Rubi Tools) for the showcase.
“This design showcase demonstrated the synergy of beautiful design and professional installation,” stated Bart Bettiga, executive director of the NTCA. “It stresses the importance of using professional tile installers. All of the installers were certified as part of the Ceramic Tile Education Foundation certification program.”
The Installation Design Showcase also featured a lounge area where attendees could network, take a break and/or watch as the installations took place.
